Authoritarian (adj.) favoring or enforcing strict obedience to authority, esp. that of the government, at the expense of personal freedom

Ecstatic (adj.)1 feeling or expressing overwhelming happiness or joyful excitement : ecstatic fans filled the stadium.

Formidable (adj.) inspiring fear or respect through being impressively large, powerful, intense, or capable : a formidable opponent
